A few good minutes a day, and a dog who gets it.
Collected is a dog-training and dog-care app for iPhone. Short sessions that fit around a walk, a private coach called Scout for when you're stuck, and everything about your dog kept on your phone.

What the first session looks like
Day one takes about three minutes, about twenty small treats and a quiet room. It teaches one thing: the word that tells your dog that's it
. Everything after is built on it.
-
Pick your word
One short word that means
that was right
. Most people useyes
. Pick it now and never change it. -
Say it, then treat
Say it the instant your dog gets it right, then the treat. Tap the big Yes! as you go, and the app keeps count for you.
-
Stop on a win
Sessions end while it's still fun. The app tells you where you stand:
About 2 more and it should stick.
-
Say how it went
Calmer, no different, or more wound up. One tap, and a note if you want one. It all goes in your dog's book.
Seven courses, at your dog's pace
Tick off what your dog already knows and skip ahead. Pick a pace, Gentle, Steady or Intense, and young puppies are kept to sessions their age can handle.

Stuck? Ask Scout.
Scout is Collected's coach. It knows your dog's plan and where you are in it, so she jumps up at everyone who comes in
gets an answer for her, not for dogs in general. Plenty of answers are worked out on your phone and send nothing at all.
Emergencies, poisonings and medicine doses never get an AI answer. Scout gives you your vet's number and a poison line, straight away.
When a question does go online
Scout sends
- Your question
- Your dog's first name and breed
- An age range, not the exact age
- Where you are in the plan
- A short summary worked out on your phone
Never sent
- Health and care records
- Your dog's photo
- Your location or contacts
- Your own notes, unless you switch that on
You can read the whole list in the app, under What Scout knows, and turn online answers off there.
Care, kept on your phone
The everyday record a good owner means to keep, without the shoebox. None of it is sent anywhere, not even with a question to Scout.
- Health record
- Vaccines, medicines and vet visits, with what's due next.
- Reminders
- Flea and tick, worming, heartworm, nails, teeth and the next vet check.
- Weight
- Logged over time and checked against your breed's usual range.
- Meals and food
- What and when they eat, and a quick check before you share your plate.
- Walks and potty
- One tap to start a walk, timed on your Lock Screen.
